Big Brown Eyes….

How cute are these two?  I roll in on this family only to quickly be introduced to their new puppy.  “S” gave me the thumbs up on my puppy-holding form…then we headed out to the yard in one of her very f-a-v-o-r-i-t-e dresses of all time.  I would want to wear that dress ‘everyday all day’ too!!  “J” was chillin’ out in his surfing duds – laid back relaxin’ in his car.  Thanks for having me over….we had ourselves some fun!

Lollipops and Peekaboo!

More good people in Palm Beach….”B” and “JT” are getting so big and everyone was great considering “B” was under the weather a little bit.  Thanks for continuing to call on me….I love getting to see all of you.  “JT” – thanks for raising a glass of ‘cheer’ for our playdate…and “B”, I hope you licked on that lollipop all day long!

Sweet beach girls!

I met these little girls this time last year but have known their sweet Mama for a while through my sister-in-law.  Everybody has grown up just a little….so we took ourselves a field trip.  We went around the neighborhood a bit and visited some special spots….and then it was off to the beach!  What a great way to spend the late afternoon….the second we were on the pathway down to the beach….the stress just hung along the vines until it was all gone.  Fabulous.  “C” was spunky as usual….and “EG” did fantastic – considering she ended up with a fever of 104 later that night.  I loved getting to see you guys again!

Mama and her Doggies…

It’s that time of year again when I take a working vacation in southern Florida.  My first play date was with these good people….and a couple of ‘people-friends’.  Thank you for having me over – the dogs were in a great mood and I enjoyed my visit with you!

Blessing of a New Chapter…

This is another time when I think God put me in a certain place for a special reason.  This sweet night was a second wedding for both….and I share that tidbit because it was an extra, special night.  The groom was widowed a few years back and this night was the start of a new beginning.  I could feel the excitement in both….but his excitement especially hit home for me.  When I was little….my mother passed away.  Devastating to our family for sure….but many blessings were yet to come.  My father remarried a couple years later to one of the sweetest ladies around.  My father was gifted with a new chapter in his life and we (his 4 children) took great comfort in that.  The groom reminded me of my father all night….dancing all over the floor in complete joy!  The bride is one of the sweetest around with two fantastic, young gentlemen and a blessing to her groom, for sure.  Cheers to your new chapter that is well deserved by both.

…and now….a cute COUSIN to Braggggg about.

These nice people are friends of mine….so I’ve seen them since our shoot this time last year.  What’s new and different this time??  Mr. Super Sweet Cousin who joined us….nothing but smiles and funny faces.  I’m so glad I got to meet you “T” and get some good pinchin’ in on those cheeks of yours.  “E” and “L”….I can tell how much he enjoys being with you.  Here’s your cousin sneak peek…..I think the grandparents are going to be excited!!

Rowe Rowe Rowe your boat….

The last time I got these three in front of the camera….the little guy was just along for the ride with the older two.  Now…he drives that boat.  It was a fun, Fall day after school and I loved getting to see you guys again.  “J”…you are always up for kicking a ball, riding a scooter or climbing a tree.  “J”…you got the award for patience through a HUGE grin as I think your hair was yanked about 8 times.  And “S”….I love a little action, tumble and trouble all in one.  Here’s your sneak peek!

Little Mister Skull and Crossbones…

My main man “C” is now a big brother!  I was supposed to hang out with Mama and Daddy on the day his little brother was born to help welcome him into this world….but “C” was a little impatient and things happened without me!  I got over there on Halloween – and, as usual, Mama looked fantastic…house was decorated with a spooky spirit….and all was calm and settled.  “C” and “C” – I look forward to seeing you in about 3 months.  And let the record reflect….Big brother almost shed some tears when I left….I’LL TAKE IT!

Sandy dropped in to help say, “I Do!”

For those of you on the Eastern coast…..you know exactly who Sandy is right about now.  Fortunately for us here in Charleston, we only got wind and rain from her….lots-o-rain.  Caroline, I’m not sure if you’re quite willing to believe it yet….but they do say that rain on your wedding day is ‘good luck’.  The beautiful thing is – although it rained buckets all day….the downpour turned to drops….which turned to a drizzle….right before the ceremony.  And then, I don’t think you even realized it….but there was a beautiful sunset during your reception!  So….even though she tried…Sandy couldn’t mess up your night!

It was perfect….the Hugenot Church, the guests, the hall.  The bridesmaids’ dresses were navy in all different shades and styles….each girl’s shoes were a different color with flowers to match their shoes.  The colorful mix was a welcomed sight after the day’s rain and gray skies.  A great night with a happy couple enjoying each and every guest.  CHEERS – here’s your sneak peek.  And, yes, Polly and Renee…..you made it!  (Please check out the sweet flower girl ‘admiring’ the bride.)

Happy Preschool Fall…Y’all!

St. Philips’ Preschool might be one of the sweetest, little schools around.  Lee and Angela have got the whole system down pat and it’s a great, downtown school.  Nice facilities, sweet teachers…..and lots of cute munchkins running around HAPPY.  It’s fun to see bicycles, strollers and dogs waiting in the breezeway while parents are inside dropping off their children.  Everyone is kicking it old-school around there.

Here is a sneak peek of my morning shooting their “school pictures”…..love every minute of it…(even when it seems my camera has a monster sitting on top of it!)
