I love these cute little munchkins and I’m lucky enough to hook up with them every 3 months or so.  Now, they are living back down in our hood.  I’m so excited…that these two boys get to join in….the already overloaded level of testosterone in this neighborhood.  Every afternoon is filled with dump trucks, race cars, big wheels, golf and wine.  Yep, wine.  Currently, I am cleaning off splatters on the exterior of my house from a Loquat war.  Yep, wine.

 

Great little family….that has grown quite a bit….since I saw them last.  Too much fun in the hammock, in the jungle, and down at the beach.  Enjoyed my afternoon with everyone and hope you guys had a great weekend.

 

Come this June….it will have been 3 years since this cute lady and her man rode away on a tandem bicycle with tin cans and streamers behind….now, they’ve got a little present coming in July!  Congratulations!

This time yesterday….seems like light years ago.  I was tromping around Myrtle Beach….free of laundry, carpool and schedules….only to (happily) be on a roller coaster of a schedule…dictated by a 7 pound 6.5 ounce bean.  Friends had given this sweet couple a gift of me shooting the delivery of their first baby….and let me just say – that is a gift to ME!  It never gets old and the magic never dies.  No matter how many hours of anticipation are spent sitting on ready…waiting on go – it is ALWAYS worth it.

Mama worked so hard….and ended up being the main guest of the ballroom with blue drapes – surgical drapes.  Daddy stayed proud, positive and excited through the wait…and, after the delivery, I heard THREE different nurses/doctors say, “I haven’t seen a Daddy this proud in a long time!”  I agree.  It was really special to experience….and even more so when the new, little family reunited after Mama recovered for a bit.

Please note Daddy’s eyes of fear in one of the pictures….but that disappeared with the exhaustion as nature took over.  Nice job wrapping up your first BEAN burrito, Daddy!  They didn’t know what they were having….LOVE IT….it’s a sweet, feminine, little girl.

This beautiful wedding went off with a HUGE celebration….happy bride – happy groom – and happy guests.  Katie, you looked stunning.  Everything about your night was perfect and I hope that you feel the same way.  Brett, you were calm, cool and ready for it all.  You took the night on like a champ…and ended it like John Travolta in Dance Fever..Woooo..!!  Enjoy this sneak peek…and I hope you’ve had a week of (somewhat) rest and relaxation!

Uh…dude.  How cute is this little peace-throwin’ munchkin with his Daddy?   I really do enjoy pretty much every aspect of my job…but I L-O-V-E a newborn shoot.  Some make you work a little harder for it….ALL tinkle on something or someone during it…but sweet and delicious none the less.  It sure is fun to be able to capture this stage…during a time when parents are nothing but sleep-deprived and foggy….especially since it’s fleeting.   You guys seem to be settling in nicely and the pups are pretty cool with him too!

 

Let’s discuss.  How many of you know….a 3-year old….who is constantly happy, sweet and full of sunshine?!  I know there are moments…..and I do realize that he wakes before the roosters…but he is one of the sweetest, little angels I know.  Katy – thank you for a great week…and “M”, thank you for all the smiles….and information about Neptune’s gases…and Pluto’s dwarfness…and Saturn’s rings….

Just got in from shooting THIS bride’s GREAT wedding……and have been dying to post some shots from her bridal portrait a few weeks ago.

I met this cute family a couple of years ago……back when Miss Priss was just about two.  We had sooo much fun chatting around the pool, playing on the beach and scaring each other.  I don’t think the afternoon could have been more perfect with the weather, water and laughter we had going on!  So good to see you again.  Check out the anxious anticipation of Daddy’s “boo!”

If you’re ever in Palm Beach and need a little getaway with the children…..it is worth getting down to see the champion-size Kapok tree.  Its roots are massive, sprawling and crawling with lizards.  The garden in which it sits is beautiful, shaded and by the water – a nice place to let the children go!  I met these fun little guys down there yesterday….take a peek!
