It’s always nice to meet new people from all over….this cute family came from Pennsylvania and California.  Despite the little rain showers here and there….temperature wise, they couldn’t have ordered better weather!!  Thanks for calling me …I hope the rest of your stay was great!

 

Crazy, fun, awesome wedding weekend including two great people, nice wedding party, fabulous families, beautiful ceremony, rockin’ reception….  It was on, people – just see for yourself.  (Oh….that lace on the stems of her bouquet…was her grandmother’s…too sweet.)  Thank you so much for including me….it was a pleasure and a blast!  Enjoy your sneak peek while sipping on a lil’ drink with an umbrella…and some sunshine….and some rest.

Side note:  Can I just say….that I witnessed….in one night….the Sprinkler, the Running Man, Gatoring, some kind of Squat Shift, a Split, Break Dancing, an Imaginary String act, the Stevie Wonder, the Worm, some line dancing, a lil “Single Ladies” video reenactment ….right on.

Last weekend was a GREAT wedding weekend…..starting with one of the happiest, funniest rehearsal dinners yet.  Way to get the weekend started.  Next up…?….Pictures from the incredible wedding….

Last night was this pretty bride’s big day…..and it was FABULOUS.  Another laid back family with an ‘anything goes’ attitude….because no matter what happens….you’re going to be married at the end of it.  Perfect.  Here’s some from her bridal portrait.

 

This cute thing fell down on the concrete time….and time…and time again.  No tears.  Tough as nails.

I love these cute little munchkins and I’m lucky enough to hook up with them every 3 months or so.  Now, they are living back down in our hood.  I’m so excited…that these two boys get to join in….the already overloaded level of testosterone in this neighborhood.  Every afternoon is filled with dump trucks, race cars, big wheels, golf and wine.  Yep, wine.  Currently, I am cleaning off splatters on the exterior of my house from a Loquat war.  Yep, wine.

 

Great little family….that has grown quite a bit….since I saw them last.  Too much fun in the hammock, in the jungle, and down at the beach.  Enjoyed my afternoon with everyone and hope you guys had a great weekend.

 

Come this June….it will have been 3 years since this cute lady and her man rode away on a tandem bicycle with tin cans and streamers behind….now, they’ve got a little present coming in July!  Congratulations!

This time yesterday….seems like light years ago.  I was tromping around Myrtle Beach….free of laundry, carpool and schedules….only to (happily) be on a roller coaster of a schedule…dictated by a 7 pound 6.5 ounce bean.  Friends had given this sweet couple a gift of me shooting the delivery of their first baby….and let me just say – that is a gift to ME!  It never gets old and the magic never dies.  No matter how many hours of anticipation are spent sitting on ready…waiting on go – it is ALWAYS worth it.

Mama worked so hard….and ended up being the main guest of the ballroom with blue drapes – surgical drapes.  Daddy stayed proud, positive and excited through the wait…and, after the delivery, I heard THREE different nurses/doctors say, “I haven’t seen a Daddy this proud in a long time!”  I agree.  It was really special to experience….and even more so when the new, little family reunited after Mama recovered for a bit.

Please note Daddy’s eyes of fear in one of the pictures….but that disappeared with the exhaustion as nature took over.  Nice job wrapping up your first BEAN burrito, Daddy!  They didn’t know what they were having….LOVE IT….it’s a sweet, feminine, little girl.

This beautiful wedding went off with a HUGE celebration….happy bride – happy groom – and happy guests.  Katie, you looked stunning.  Everything about your night was perfect and I hope that you feel the same way.  Brett, you were calm, cool and ready for it all.  You took the night on like a champ…and ended it like John Travolta in Dance Fever..Woooo..!!  Enjoy this sneak peek…and I hope you’ve had a week of (somewhat) rest and relaxation!
