Mercy Jackson…

I always love it when pets are included in a shoot…I think it’s important to make a memory with the 4-legged friends…especially when they’re up in age.  Thanks for including Mercy and Jackson…they played the part of ‘wise ole grandparents’.

Papa and crew…

Love these people…year after year.  And yes, that is a finger IN the eye ball.  Sibling love at its finest.

Sweetness…

These are our old neighbors…who packed up and moved clear across into another zip code…and we miss them.  Since they moved…Mr. Sweetness has come along…and isn’t he delicious?!?

The “Ott” Club…

Met this fun crew down in Rockville…for an afternoon of swingin’, bug-swattin’ and gigglin’.  We ran it old school…and pulled an “Eight is Enough” family pyramid…awesome.  That will be one to look back on…enjoyed it.

Rocks in the Pond…

I get the giggles from the get-go because dad pulls up and says sarcastically, “Another silky, smooth morning in our household….”  Well throw a ball in the water…and run out of rocks…and that ties things up nicely with a bow.  I, for one, think we had a great time…because usually whatever it is that stresses parents out at a shoot…turns out to be better material for me.  Life is perfection without tears, people.  All the time.

Andrew - Travis, you are a magician. Thank you again.

One day…he won’t be so little…

Mama and Daddy…I know that my arrival can cause chaos…but I also know that I LOVE having a happy, energetic child with a real smile and serious laughter.  Thanks for letting me do my thing while adding a lil’ crazy to the household.  And big brother…one day…oh one day…you’ll be on the receiving end.

She’s married!!

I feel so blessed to have been a part of this special girl’s day.  She is my niece and god-daughter…and I love her to the moon and back.  She found her perfect match and these two have had more prayers for their marriage…even before they knew each other.   Here are a few from their FABULOUS wedding!  And Ans…as your wise Daddy has always said, “One of the most important things you can do in life…is marry the right person.”  Girl, you crushed it.  (Sentimental side note…this dress was my mother’s wedding gown…57 years old…worn by my aunt, my two sisters, my cousin and me…SO SPECIAL!)

Playing a little hooky…

Last Saturday’s east coast weather swirl…created a little travel traffic jam in the sky…which caused this sweet family…to rearrange our session…and play a little hooky from school.  Having our fun was worth the tardy!  Here’s your sneak peek.

Kickin’ up Dirt…

It’s been three years since I’ve seen these guys…and somebody is ALL BOY.  Sorry Dad…he couldn’t resist the path.  Enjoyed our afternoon.

“Gargoyle!”….the Word of the Day!

Sometimes during a shoot…something will grab a funny bone and take hold.  This time…Dad happened to merely mention that a facial expression reminded him of a Gargoyle.  Well…that got the giggles goin’!  Enjoyed my afternoon with you guys – here’s a little sneak peek.
