Year after year…this day has become a family tradition. Mama and Daddy take the morning…have a photo shoot…then something fun to follow. Sometimes it’s a movie…and sometimes it’s something as simple as breakfast. You are creating great Christmas-time memories and the girls are ready, willing and happy… every year. Tis the SEASON!
I think that every time I post about these peeps…I start it with LOVE, Love, love…because you can’t help but adore them. I’ve been shooting them since before Mr. Cutie entered the picture and Mama is the BEST. We finished our afternoon with an old-school drugstore counter snack! Who doesn’t need some Cheeto’s and Coca-Cola after some chocolate ice cream?
I know that including a family pet – (or maybe even an extended family member) – can sometimes be stressful. I always recommend it as the extra work is worth it for a couple of reasons. First, my motto is ‘the crazier the better’ during a shoot. For real. Why?…because it takes the focus off the shoot and brings out real personalities. Second, who doesn’t want to have printed and framed the very one who pooped on the oriental rug? Enjoyed our morning…Happy Thanksgiving!
This sweet bride is one of my very favorite people on the planet. She has taught two of my children middle school history with such a passion, joy and understanding. How fitting that her bridal suite was adorned with several portraits of American presidents. What a blessing it is has been for these two to meet and marry. Cheers to dropping the ‘loe’…

These are the most beautiful wedding photos! I have a daughter who is only 11 right now, but I sure hope you are still doing wedding photography when it’s her turn! And where was the ceremony and reception? And that GOWN! I’d love to know more about it. Sincerely,

Indeed, Travis Dew is quite gifted in photography! We are thrilled with this sneak preview of the wedding and reception. The ceremony was at St. Michael’s Church and the reception was at the Carolina Yacht Club. Merry Christmas! |
