A HUGE heaping of love…

Boy, sometimes it’s a super small world and God puts you right where you need to be.  That’s exactly the way I felt when I drove away from this big ole’ family last night.  So much love and joy amongst ALL of them…I could see, hear and feel it.  There was laughter, music, dancing, flirting…just fabulous.  They’ve got stories from Kazakhstan to Scottish Rite to being ninety-eight years old to seeing the ocean for the very first time.

I walked in and we immediately started playing the Athens name game…realizing we had some pretty close connections…outside of the ones that brought us together for the shoot.  When I left, I quickly made more connections for three families who never dreamed of or ever wanted to be initiated into the same club.

Life is light and happy for these in this first picture.  Ohhh the life story that could be written just between the two of them.

~ Peeeggg ~ it will come back to you…

I most enjoyed my afternoon with this sweet family.  I feel like we are old friends as we seemed to discuss everything from baby poop to world peace.  Sweet “P”, Mama and Daddy are all adjusting nicely…but I’m not so sure about the furry older brother!  I’m sure baby girl will grow on him soon.  Here is a little sneak peek…and I’ll put the rest up soon!

What a GOOD baby…

I am getting my newborn FIX this week!!  This little munchkin did so great this morning and sweet Mama looks fantastic.  It sounds like things are just rolling along and everyone is getting used to the new addition!  Welcome to this crazy fun world little “J”…we’re glad you’re here.

Sweet kisses…

What a great morning I had with this sweet family.  They are some of my very favorite people to be around.  Checking in on little Miss Priss at 4 weeks old…and getting to see big brother give the best. licking. kisses. ever.  Perfection.

Small world…

It’s a crazy small world – when two unrelated clients/families in the past month – have had connections to DePaul University.  My son goes to DePaul in Chicago, IL and I had never even heard of the school until he started the college search.  Meeting this family was such a treat as each and every member, small children included, had a pleasant, happy disposition.  Chicagoans are fabulous people!  Here is a sneak peek of our morning together!

Sweet Lily of the Valley…

I love my work and shooting a delivery is by far one of my VERY FAVORITE things to do.  This sweet couple is special and possess an incredible energy and presence together.  They are easy-going, happy, supportive and on the same page.  Smith…party of FOUR…you’re rockin’ and rollin’.  Cannot WAIT to shoot the 2-week and include little man.  Thanks for a fabulous evening.  Oh…and remember this not too long ago (look familiar?)

Hampton Park Harmony…

What a beautiful afternoon with this great family!  Todd was kind enough to give his mother a gift certificate for a session at Christmas and I was thrilled.  I looked forward to meeting his family as he has been a part of some of my children’s musical influence on and off since they were little.

I’m so glad we made it work before your mom set off to Maine…I don’t think the afternoon could have been any better!  Here is a sneak peek…I’ll let you know when the rest of the gallery goes up.

Up to no good there, Mr. Troublemaker…love it.

Chicagoan Friends…

I feel like I’ve know this fun crew forever.  They are from Chicago so of course my first comment is that my son goes to DePaul University.  They both graduated from there.  I find that crazy because when two little worlds come together like that I think it’s fun…and quirky…and meant to be.

I showed up to a familiar scene of, “I don’t want to be in this dress!”, “I want my hair different!”,  “Why are we doing this today?”…but I think we turned it around and had ourselves a fun little morning.  I most enjoyed meeting you guys and am hopeful to make it up to Chicago SOON!

Skimboarding and Soccer Balls…

What a perfect morning with this great family.  I hope the rest of your SpringBreak was fabulous…here is your sneak peek.  Your gallery will be up soon!

Happy Birthday, fuzz ball…

All this sweet child wanted for his birthday…was a truck and fuzzy puff balls.  No ordinary puff ball…the kind with special tinsel fuzz.  Well Mama and Daddy were all over it…and life was good.  The day became a little more special when Mama showed him the birthday cake she made for him.  Happy day to you, sweet guy.
