Beautiful beach hair…

Does this child not have the most beautiful head of hair!?  A fabulous morning with sweet little “E” and family.  I love that we connected and hope that the rest of your week was relaxing and full of sand.  “E”…start getting that pink and purple backpack ready to go!

ONE love…

Sweet little Priss was the star of the Saturday show…on a very muggy morning.  The family gathered all around to watch her eat cake…and she wanted…none of it.  Hardly a lick.  She had places to crawl and people to visit so we had a great little morning anyway in a beautiful spot.  Here is your sneak peek…the rest should go up shortly!

The youngest child…with the oldest soul.

A quick family shoot…during the rare occasion that everyone is able to vacation together.  I can already relate with my children’s schedules taking us in different directions and cherish that rare time as a whole family.  Loved meeting you and I hope the rest of your time was relaxing and enjoyable.

Sweet Baby B…

I’ll add more later…but wanted to get something up tonight for Mama and Daddy.  Mama worked as hard as I have ever seen…and ended up in the OR.  Although not her first choice, that mentality flew out the window once that first cry was heard.  He’s perfect and tonight was the very best.

Moore fun…every time!

I love love LOVE these peeps and am thrilled when they come into town.  It is so great that my daughter got to get to the know them and neither of us can quit smiling about them.  Cheers to yet another fabulous time in SI.

A sugar cube will do ya’…

This is one of my absolute…all-time…favorite…no nonsense…drama-free…solid girls…from one of my all-time favorite families.  Sweet Parker has a love affair with this big gal…and college, et al. is about to come between them.  What a fun morning and a total pleasure watching you with her.  Love that the pocket full of sugar cubes kept her curious and flirtatious!

Have a great rest of the summer…and the Dews want a send-off before you head to Ole Miss!

An Irish Goodbye…at brunch!

A fabulous large family gathering to send one sweet section off to Ireland.  Enjoyed my Sunday morning with all of you!!

Calm party of Five…

I love when I come back from a shoot and brag about a sweet family.  All five of these people right here are some of the nicest most genuine people you will ever meet.  I’m glad we got out before the real heat started…and hope your afternoon in Edisto was fabulous.

Sand-bathing…

I am always amazed that children can enjoy sand as much as they do.  My husband goes to the beach…refuses to take a chair…stands anxiously around those enjoying the sun…and then despises the packing up/riding home routine.  His theory…he’d rather take nothing to the beach so nothing gets sand on it.  I get it to some degree…but I can at least enjoy myself.

These two…don’t mind it one bit!  Love it.

A HUGE heaping of love…

Boy, sometimes it’s a super small world and God puts you right where you need to be.  That’s exactly the way I felt when I drove away from this big ole’ family last night.  So much love and joy amongst ALL of them…I could see, hear and feel it.  There was laughter, music, dancing, flirting…just fabulous.  They’ve got stories from Kazakhstan to Scottish Rite to being ninety-eight years old to seeing the ocean for the very first time.

I walked in and we immediately started playing the Athens name game…realizing we had some pretty close connections…outside of the ones that brought us together for the shoot.  When I left, I quickly made more connections for three families who never dreamed of or ever wanted to be initiated into the same club.

Life is light and happy for these in this first picture.  Ohhh the life story that could be written just between the two of them.
